What matters when ordering spunbond in bulk

MARVIK manufactures polypropylene spunbond in Kazakhstan for furniture, mattress systems, automotive components and industrial conversion.

How do I choose spunbond basis weight?

Basis weight is evaluated together with layer function, coverage, strength, elongation, rigidity and processing method. The initial range is narrowed with our guide and confirmed through a line trial.

Which spunbond is used in furniture and mattresses?

Spunbond is used for furniture undersides and backs, filler protection, inner covers, separation layers and spring systems. The final basis weight depends on the product construction.

Is the material suitable for automotive components?

It can serve as backing, reinforcement and protection in concealed components. Automotive parameters must be qualified and tested against the customer’s requirements.

What is needed for a bulk-supply quotation?

Share the finished product and layer function, required weight and colour, roll width, monthly or annual volume, tests and tolerances. A current material sample can be used when no specification is available.
