Nonwovens for crop production

Izoterm Agrotex

White crop covers and black mulching fabrics for growing beds, tunnels and agricultural land. Choose a weight and width suited to your crop, season and installation method.

Above the crop. Across the soil.

01

Crop protection

White fabric is placed above plants. Covers help moderate exposure to wind and sunlight; select the fabric weight for the crop and growing conditions.

02

Hoops and tunnels

A supporting frame leaves room for growth. Allow for secure fixing, ventilation and access for crop care and pollination.

03

Soil mulching

Black fabric is laid on prepared soil with planting openings. It limits light reaching weeds and separates fruit from the ground.

04

Large growing areas

Widths up to 12.7 m can be matched to planting layouts. Include extra fabric for anchoring and for the height of plants or hoops.

Weights and widths

Roll materials marked 2% UV. The available combinations of weight, colour and width are shown below.

2% UV is a UV-stabilisation marking, not the proportion of radiation blocked or a service-life rating. Temperature limits and durability need confirmation for the selected material.
